Job Summary

The Night Auditor position at Belterra Casino Resort is a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing source documents to provide accurate and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Audit and process source documents in accordance with established procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording of hotel and related revenue.
  • Initiate the generation of and coordinate the distribution of various hotel system reports to support financial decision-making.
  • Assist in training and supervising staff to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established job requirements.
  • Notify the Hotel Manager of any potential discrepancies and assist with research and resolution of problems.
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects of the Front Desk, including check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Oversee all close day functions in the front office and ensure that all rooms are checked in and payments are secured.
  • Assist guests and other departments during the audit shift in the capacity of manager on duty in your absence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with adding machine and computer input terminal.
  • Ability to solve mathematically oriented problems.
  • Accounting background is helpful.
  • Clerical background is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • AS/400 computer system, adding machine, and typewriter experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
