Job Overview

Enerfab is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing and implementing project controls processes and tools to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software, collaborate with project teams to define project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Cost Management: Establish and manage project budgets, track and report on project costs, monitor and analyze cost variances, and provide recommendations for cost control.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and implement key performance indicators to measure project progress and success, prepare and distribute project performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies, assist in developing risk management plans and monitoring risk factors.
  • Change Management: Evaluate and document changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, collaborate with project managers to assess the impact of changes and ensure proper approvals.
  • Document Control: Establish and maintain a project document control system, ensure version control and accessibility for project teams, manage the distribution and filing of project documents.
  • Project Reporting: Prepare regular project status reports, including schedule updates, cost reports, and progress summaries, present project status to project teams and senior management.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and coordination between project teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders, ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in project controls, project management, costs, scheduling, or a related role preferred.
  • Proficiency in project controls software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices, scheduling techniques, and cost management.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, travel is required for this role.
  • Willingness to learn, grit, and determination to be successful in this role.
Work Environment and Expectations
  • Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances.
  • When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or pulling.
  • Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
