Key Responsibilities
  • Implement reading and math interventions in one-on-one or small group settings with students who require additional academic support.
  • Meet regularly with the Academic Development Coordinator to discuss student progress and growth.
  • Document student supports and interventions implemented.
  • Administer assessments and progress monitoring with students to track their achievement.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children and managing a classroom setting.
  • Models behavior consistent with Christ's teaching.
  • Has a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can multitask effectively.
  • Passionate about changing the lives of students in the community.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship building skills with children and adults.
Conditions of Employment
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Criminal background check must show no conviction of a felony or misdemeanor crime.
Education Requirements
  • BA/BS in Education, or equivalent experience with youth is strongly preferred.
