Area Service Manager

As a key member of the Trane Technologies team, the Area Service Manager will be responsible for leading the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, ensuring technicians' training and skill level is appropriately balanced to service customers, and leveraging resources across the district. This includes emergency repair, regular maintenance contracts, scheduled work and upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the service coordination function to ensure efficient customer response, technician training, and resource allocation.
• Effectively attract, coach, counsel, train, and develop all service employees, driving continuous improvement through company performance management processes and technical product training programs.
• Maximize cash flow by ensuring timely invoicing, managing expense budgets, and increasing service team utilization.
• Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance within the service team, providing training to all employees to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of four years' experience in an industrial sales business setting, with a minimum of three years' experience in managing teams, processes, and budgets.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
