Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the leasing of apartments
  • Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
  • Conduct tours of the community for potential residents
  • Send follow-up notes to prospective tenants
  • Pre-screen applicants
  • Review and submit pending applications for approval
  • Communicate application status to applicants
  • Assist new residents with the move-in process
  • Thoroughly review all necessary documentation with new residents
  • Process payments as directed
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of lease agreements and related paperwork
  • Deliver welcome gifts and inspect units prior to move-in
  • Issue keys to new residents
  • Manage lease renewals for current residents
  • Inform residents about lease expiration and discuss new lease terms
  • Assist residents during the move-out process
  • Complete all required move-out documentation accurately and promptly
  • Retrieve keys and access devices from departing residents
  • Provide professional assistance to residents to address their concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents
  • Participate in community events as required
  • Perform general office tasks such as opening and closing procedures, filing, answering phones, and assisting with reports
  • Execute quality control measures as directed
  • Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales environment
  • Strong communication skills with residents, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and a passion for sales
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to navigate stairs while showing apartments
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds; assistance should be sought for heavier items
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be necessary
  • Full-time availability, typically Tuesday through Saturday
