Overview:
Execute the night audit functions to ensure the preservation of financial controls and adherence to hotel standards. Collaborate with other departments (such as Security and Housekeeping) to guarantee exceptional service for all guests.

Responsibilities:


Compile daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to detail revenue, covers, waitstaff fees, tips distributed, and settlements by type and cashier.

Generate audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computer.

Make necessary corrections and adjustments and address any computer issues that may arise during the shift.


Input revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system to produce daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.

Reconcile all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain records, and reset the system for the following day's operations.

Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work consistently.

Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key device.

Capability to effectively address guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
