Job Summary:

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research and Development Technician to join our team. As a key member of our R&D group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of innovative technologies for space, defense, and energy-related applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and collect data to support the development of new technologies
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design, manufacture, and test prototypes
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to thermal systems and materials
• Contribute to the development of technical reports and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in R&D or related field
• Strong understanding of thermal systems and materials science
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Experience with CAD software and 3D printing
• Knowledge of thermal analysis software and techniques
• Familiarity with materials testing and characterization
