Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of building construction projects to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Examine plans, blueprints, and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure that construction meets industry standards.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs and detailed reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in building construction or a related field.
  • Proven track record of ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid California Class "C" Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International Code Council (ICC) certification as a Commercial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Combination Inspector.
  • Experience with inspection software and field hardware.
