Job Summary

As a Building Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, responsible for supporting and maintaining equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain building systems to ensure they operate within design capabilities and meet environmental conditions.
  • Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling.
  • Perform assigned repairs and maintenance tasks, including energy management and lighting system maintenance.
  • Review and estimate work orders, ordering materials and supplies as needed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Universal CFC certification and additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

As a Building Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for your personal safety and the safety of those affected by your work. This includes completing required safety training and following all safety-related requirements.
