SUMMARY
Under close supervision, the Manufacturing Associate executes standardized assembly tasks of varying complexity on a range of soap dispensers and related components. This role requires functioning effectively in a team-oriented and continuously improving environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Engages in production line activities or individual job stations, assembling parts into sub-assemblies or completed units using various hand and power tools or simple machinery.
  • Performs tasks that are more varied and complex than entry-level assembly, necessitating a broader knowledge of the product line.
  • Conducts product testing at both sub-assembly and final assembly stages.
  • May be tasked with repairing or reworking assembled units or sub-assemblies as needed.
  • Maintains responsibility for quality, workmanship, and adherence to company production standards.
  • Capable of executing simple setups as required.
  • Identifies and reports issues, discrepancies, and failures related to materials, tools, machinery, and processes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform the role of a Repetitive Assembler effectively.
  • Understands the four Level Defect Grading System and actively seeks to identify, report, and contribute to problem-solving efforts to rectify or prevent quality defects and errors.
  • Adheres to established safety standards throughout all tasks.
  • Keeps the work area organized and tidy.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required, along with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or one to two years of mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficient in writing and following instructions in English.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with other employees within the organization.
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with the ability to perform these operations using units of weight, volume, and distance. Ability to read simple sketches and shop drawings.
  • While performing job duties, frequent use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls is required, along with the ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively. A high degree of manual dexterity is essential.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary: $18.50/hr - $22/hr
