Job Summary

Parker Aerospace Group is seeking a skilled Assembler Mechanical Unit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical units and associated assemblies. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical assemblies working to shop orders, diagrams, drawings and spec sheets.
  • Assemble mechanical parts associated with actuators, solenoids, coils, proximity switches and fields, etc.
  • Solder assemblies.
  • Assemble complete units working under supervision, safety wires.
  • Operate light machines, presses and name plate marking equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to understand and follow assembly instructions.
  • Ability to use various assembly and mechanics tools.
  • Accurate and neat record-keeping skills.
  • Punctuality and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Professional conduct at all times.
Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes.

Benefits

Parker Aerospace Group offers a competitive salary range of $30.66/hr.- $32.87/hr. and a comprehensive benefits package.
