Role Responsibilities:
The Restoration Technician serves as a crucial first responder in property loss scenarios, assisting in damage mitigation for both residential and commercial properties. Key responsibilities include:
  • Water damage extraction and mitigation
  • Fire and smoke damage restoration
  • Microbial remediation
  • Clean-up of vandalism, crime scenes, and biohazards
  • Demolition tasks
  • Supervision of temporary labor personnel on-site
  • Delivering exceptional customer service with empathy
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Availability for on-call duties 24/7
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in restoration or maintenance

Work Environment:
The work environment is typically quiet, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. Employees may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and are regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary, with less than 25% of the time spent away from the primary location for training or meetings.

Compensation:
BluSky offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $25, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, paid holidays, and necessary equipment for the role.
