Sales Associate for Sporting Goods

As a Sales Associate at Marucci Sports, LLC, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our range of products, including Marucci, Victus, and Lizard Skins. Your role will involve engaging with potential customers, educating them about our offerings through various communication methods, and ensuring a high level of support for our existing clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing product information and identifying their needs to recommend suitable solutions.
- Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities by organizing daily outreach efforts.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management, addressing any concerns that arise.
- Tailor sales presentations based on the specific characteristics of different sales environments.
- Analyze customer volume trends to focus sales strategies effectively.
- Process orders by referencing pricing and product information.
- Keep management updated with regular reports on activities, including daily interactions and sales performance.
- Research market trends to stay informed about competitor offerings and pricing strategies.
- Suggest improvements in products and services based on customer feedback and market analysis.
- Enhance professional knowledge by participating in training sessions and industry events.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving related sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills, including prospecting and closing techniques.
- Knowledge of product offerings and market dynamics.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in computer applications and quick to learn new software.
- Preferred experience in modern sales methodologies.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related discipline is required.
- Three to five years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
- Experience in the sports industry is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- This role may require travel of 10% - 25%, including overnight stays.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer are expected.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds is necessary.
