Role ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a full-time, experienced HR Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, written, verbal communication, and computer skills.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recruitment of potential candidates
- Participation in job fairs
- Conducting comprehensive background checks, including Sterling, DOH, Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, and Sex Offender Registry
- Managing employee documentation
- Facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding processes
- Overseeing health benefits enrollment
- Maintaining licenses for all RN, LPN, HHA, PCA staff
- Ensuring compliance with DOH regulations
- Supporting the agency during DOH surveys
- Conducting in-service training in line with DOH regulations
Employment Type: Full-time
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Department of Labor and Department of Health regulations
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Language Requirements:
English/Spanish (preferred)
Work ScheduleMonday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
