The ICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all unit functions during the assigned shift.

Working alongside the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies a commitment to the organization's vision and values to foster exceptional patient experiences and clinical results.


Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

- Engage in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.

- Work with subject matter experts and other managers to cultivate a teamwork-oriented environment that enhances outcomes and service quality.

- Uphold a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.

- Support facility engagement initiatives by implementing current nursing strategies, including employee and hourly rounding.

- Provide input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new staff.

- Recommend and execute actions related to training, conflict resolution, personnel policy adherence, performance evaluations, and disciplinary measures to ensure a high-performing organization.

- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources according to patient care needs and productivity standards.
- Ensure proper inventory management and assist with the oversight of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
