Embroidery Operator Job Description

At 5.11 Tactical, we are seeking a skilled Embroidery Operator to join our team. As an Embroidery Operator, you will be responsible for applying digitized graphics onto 5.11 Tactical and 3rd party apparel and products. This role requires attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate multi and single-head embroidery machines to apply graphics onto apparel and products.
  • Account for and stage product, load the machine with specified graphics, and stitch the graphic onto the product.
  • Make quality adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality results.
  • Meet department and individual goals, including meeting production schedules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Embroidery Leads to ensure smooth production and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a cut and sew, screen print, or embroidery company is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions.
  • Basic computer/keyboard knowledge and functional knowledge of company ERP (Dynamics AX) and the Custom Shop production management solution Shopworks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
