Job Description

Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for planning and executing a variety of annual and ad-hoc fundraising events, as well as tactical fulfillment of marketing initiatives, promotions, public relations, and special events. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate the demands of this important position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and manage events from start to finish, including annual golf tournaments, clay shoots, luncheons, galas, cocktail events, seated dinners, third-party events, education luncheons, and internal events.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create informative and compelling content for digital and print publications, work with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications to develop unique and effective marketing campaigns, and adhere to and promote all Agency branding guidelines.
  • Donor and Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with corporate and individual donors, nurture business relationships by making donor visits and delivering marketing materials and gifts, and coordinate with Client Assistance Manager and/or case managers when working on projects that involve clients.
  • Project Management: Manage the marketing side of the Silver Santa campaign, participate in committee for a client connectivity project, and support the Public Relations Specialist with North Texas Giving Day planning and marketing campaigns.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and maintain relationships with marketing vendors, work with local and nationwide vendors for events, and collaborate with other departments to help with their marketing needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: Five years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, above-average interpersonal communication skills, highly-motivated individual that excels both as an individual contributor and in a team environment, excellent organizational and time-management skills, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and working knowledge of computer operations and software products.

Compensation: Yearly Salary.
