Job Overview

The Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Resource Liaison to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in need.

About the Role:

  • This position will provide short-term support, resources, and referrals to individuals to quickly resolve crisis situations.
  • You will serve as a liaison between the individual and other community resources, ensuring seamless connections and coordination.
  • Your expertise will be invaluable in navigating obstacles to resources or services, advocating for clients, and supporting them in completing paperwork and accessing new resources.

Responsibilities:

  1. Update database of current community resources and services.
  2. Conduct assessments to match individuals with the right resources at the right time.
  3. Maintain accurate records and case notes of the person or family being served, including any goals they have set to achieve.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree or four-year degree with a minimum of three years' experience or High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five years' experience working in Human Services or a similar field.
  • Experience working with low-income families and community services is preferred.
  • A valid PA driver's license, vehicle, and insurance are required, as you will be traveling to various locations throughout Lancaster County.
