Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled System Product Engineer to manage Datacenter product testers. As a member of our Product Engineering team, you will architect solutions for Datacenter system products at NVIDIA.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with internal teams to define, develop, deploy, and maintain manufacturing test solutions for Data Center products.
- Setup, validate, and support rack level tester platforms at contract manufacturers, internal labs, and 3rd party test sites.
- Coordinate test facility design and development with efficient air and liquid cooling setup.
- Manage test facility meaningful metrics.
- Plan and drive tester/server hardware and software upgrades at all sites.
- Drive failure analysis of tester/server and internal components. Identify the failure root cause, perform required repair, and fix the failure Pareto.
- Drive key tester critical metrics like tester uptime, recovery time, timely report, and material management.
- Develop test strategy for new product features including identification, specification, design, and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software.
- 5+ years of proven experience in PCBA and System products validation.
- BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, chip to system.
- Background in production test setup including failure analysis, problem solving, and ECOs.
- Experience crafting, qualifying, and upgrading test fixtures/testers.
- Knowledge of server architecture, design, components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
- Knowledge of facility cooling design and management. Liquid cooling knowledge is a big bonus.
- Understanding of communication protocols: PCIE, I2C, OSFP.
- Knowledge of mechanical and thermal tolerancing.
NVIDIA offers a competitive salary range of $128,000 USD - $201,250 USD, based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
