Job Title: Environmental Services Technician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our environmental initiatives and projects in St. Louis, MO, and neighboring areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field assessments and surveys to gather data on environmental conditions, including air quality, water quality, soil composition, and biodiversity.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of environmental samples using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings, analysis, and recommendations for environmental management and remediation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and design.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders on environmental issues and best practices.
  • Stay updated on relevant environmental regulations, trends, and advancements in the field to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and take initiative in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data, observations, and project documentation in accordance with company standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental monitoring, assessment, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Asbestos Inspectors License or capability to obtain license within the first 60 days of employment
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Leadership skills and capability of taking on responsibilities and managing projects independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
