Estimator Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our estimating team at ITAC. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for developing and managing project scopes, conducting site visits, and preparing and presenting estimates to management and clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing detailed estimates based on bid plans, specifications, and other documents
  • Conducting site visits and reviewing plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborating with project managers and estimators to develop and manage project scopes
  • Preparing and presenting estimates to management and clients

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial and heavy-commercial environments
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, plus benefits including health insurance, 401k, ESOP, life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, and employee assistance program.
