Job Description

The United States District Court is seeking a Technology Portfolio Manager to lead our Case Management Modernization Project. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to drive innovation and deliver high-quality results.

About the Project:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project management framework for multiple agile teams.
  • Oversight of contractor staff and provision of guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders across the Federal Judiciary and court working groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead concurrent projects with changing priorities, timeframes, and scope of services.
  • Conduct gate reviews, perform project management reviews, and evaluate and resolve issues.
  • Foster growth and maturity among team members, promote collaboration, and encourage accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least two years of specialized experience in project management, process improvement, written and oral communication, and client engagement.
  • Experience working in an agile IT organization, managing internal and external coalitions, and mentoring team members.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $130,000 - $190,000 annual salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, flexible benefits, and retirement savings plan.
  • Paid annual and sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays, and transit subsidy program.
