Key Responsibilities:

  • Network and System Administration: Perform regular operational functions, data entry/output functions, system/data backup, and system/data restoration.
  • Configuration Management: Perform configuration changes in accordance with configuration management system work order, including movement of computers, installation/upgrade of approved software, installation of security patches, and cable re-patching.
  • User Account Management: Perform network/system administrative functions, including user account management and password management.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform maintenance functions, including responding to trouble calls, diagnosing failures, repairing faults, and bringing failed networks/systems back online.
  • Data Management: Manage data and voice network operations, including computing, application software, and telecommunications.
  • Facilities and Meeting Rooms: Manage the facilities, meeting rooms, and video teleconference systems scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods, ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers, ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Education and Experience: 10 or more years of experience as an IMO, BA or BS or higher in a related field, DoD IAM I certified (Security +), and Windows 10 certified.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control, and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
