Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager

Amyx is seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager to support Product Lead (PdL) MilTech Solutions information and knowledge management requirements at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland.

This position may require some travel (less than 5%) to functional contract sites at both locations and geographically separated units.

Responsibilities:
  • Support DoD projects and manage and deploy complex and state-of-the-art integrated systems.
  • Develop IT system portfolio management solutions to support IT system inventory reduction, the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture, the Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Investment Review Board certifications and Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI).
  • Collaborate with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Acquisition program life cycle, the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS), the Federal Information Assurance Act (FISMA) and interrelations of each functional discipline to execute successful completion of the project.
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to present to Flag Officers, General Officers, and members of the Senior Executive Service.
Desired Qualifications:
  • DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP Certification.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience deploying large scale hardware and software systems enhancements and/or upgrades for an organization with widely distributed geographic sites.
