At ST2 ManTech Advanced Systems Intl, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and security of our computer systems, network servers, and virtualization infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization infrastructure.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance, and monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline. High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • DoD 8570.01-m- IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Administration or Engineering.
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
Clearance Requirements
  • This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
