Developmental Therapist Job Description

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children with autism, focusing on teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, ensuring fidelity to Soar's model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
Requirements:
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
