    • Monitor and support clients with medication administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed regimens.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition
    • Assist clients with meal preparation, including cooking, serving, and cleaning up.
    • Support clients with nutritional supplements and ensure they are taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Assist clients with household chores, including laundry, cleaning, and yard work.
    • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
  • Transportation and Community Outings
    • Transport clients to appointments, social events, and other activities.
    • Accompany clients on community outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and develop care plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in direct care or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • NC Driver's License required.
    • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
