Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Life Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and monitor clients with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, toileting, and self-care.
  • Support clients during meals, ensuring the utilization of family-style dining and proper nutrition.
  • Assist with housekeeping responsibilities, including clothing care, house cleaning, and yard maintenance.
  • Help clients prepare meals and nutritional supplements, as well as administer prescribed medication safely and accurately.
  • Implement and follow established behavior programs, data collection, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary team and communicate client information as directed by supervisory staff.
  • Transport and monitor clients on company vehicles, as well as accompany them on community outings and participate in school and day program activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • NC Driver's License
  • 21 years of age or older
