Job Title: Communications Specialist

At Talent Software Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. This is a contract position in Redmond, WA, with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Marketing Content Developer with a strong background in technology, B2B marketing, project management, and writing engaging marketing copy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stakeholder management and communication, while demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage content for the Integrated Marketing Content Team's business initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Customer Experience Team's business objectives.
  2. Drive direction for agency-supplied content and provide clear guidance to agency writers to enhance quality and consistency.
  3. Develop a variety of content types, including infographics, e-books, videos, social media assets, event content, blog posts, and customer stories.
  4. Organize and maintain all content-related documents in a centralized SharePoint repository, ensuring accessibility, version control, and collaboration across teams.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  6. Identify, communicate, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  7. Utilize project management tools to monitor daily project progress, provide real-time updates, and ensure visibility of completed tasks, pending tasks, and any blockers.
  8. Exhibit adaptability to changing priorities and effectively multitask while maintaining a strategic focus on overarching goals.
  9. Partner with content agencies to manage content marketing budgets, schedules, and communications.
  10. Maintain strong, professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and content alignment with business objectives.
  11. Work with multiple agencies for various projects, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely delivery of project requirements.
  12. Coordinate and manage the workflow between internal teams and external agencies to align with project goals and timelines.
  13. Enhance the influence and effectiveness of the company's brand voice by amplifying key narratives and initiatives to expand its reach and impact.
  14. Serve as a champion for the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity by adhering to the company's style guide, enforcing editorial standards, and ensuring all content maintains high-quality and consistency.
  15. Manage the execution of content marketing campaigns, professional stakeholder communication, and adherence to timelines and SLAs.
  16. Analyze marketing initiative results to provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
  17. Develop and maintain accurate and relevant process documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of processes.
  19. Implement SEO best practices to optimize the company's online presence and drive organic traffic to digital channels.
  20. Identify opportunities to leverage and expand existing content by diversifying its use across various channels, ensuring engagement and maximizing its lifespan.
  21. Identify opportunities to leverage and expand the company's branding, digital, and media initiatives through re-use and scaling efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technology, B2B marketing, project management, and technical copywriting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of effective communication and collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and digital content optimization.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple agencies and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a tech or SaaS environment.
