Foothills Park & Recreation District is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Aqua Fitness Instructor who is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through aquatic exercise. This role involves leading our Moving for Life therapy pool group fitness sessions and fulfilling various substitute teaching requirements. Our instructors are tasked with crafting, executing, and facilitating safe, engaging, and effective group fitness classes tailored for participants of diverse fitness backgrounds. If you possess a friendly demeanor, a commitment to fitness, and a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
- Experience in aqua fitness instruction is preferred.
- Must hold a current Aquatic Fitness Certification from a recognized national certifying body, with ongoing maintenance through Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
- Current CPR/AED certification is required.
- First Aid certification is advantageous.
