Job Title: Team Leader RRT

Novant Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to oversee the day-to-day activities within the NICU Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer all aspects of respiratory care services in accordance with current policies and procedures to patients of all age groups.
  • Supervise and lead a team of respiratory therapists to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve department performance and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • BS/BSRT degree required; 4-year bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an RRT in an acute care setting; previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care and current RCP licensure in the appropriate state.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
