EXCITING OPPORTUNITY - ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN FOR COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL SECTORS

Established in 2005, G&C Multi-Services provides a comprehensive range of solutions tailored to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Their team of licensed and certified professionals is equipped to deliver high-quality services across various functions, and they are currently seeking a dedicated Industrial Electrician to enhance their operations.
POSITION SUMMARY
- The Industrial & Commercial Electrician is responsible for executing a diverse array of skilled electrical tasks, alongside general maintenance and repair services for a variety of industrial and commercial clients.
WORK SCHEDULE
- This role is full-time, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with ample opportunities for overtime.
- The technician will be required to be on call every other week, covering both weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct troubleshooting for various electrical systems, including dock equipment, air compressors, and automated doors.
- Install and maintain pneumatic, electronic, and instrumentation equipment.
- Oversee the installation and upkeep of Motor Control Centers.
- Disassemble and troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical and instrumentation equipment, testing for defects.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring compliance with safety policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with design and pre-fabrication teams as needed.
- Occasionally work in confined spaces.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment, coordinating repairs and inspections as necessary.
- Engage in training and certification programs to stay updated with industry advancements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- Proficient in A/C power and A/C motors with extensive electrical field experience.
- Knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its applications.
- Willingness to travel to various client locations as required.
- Ability to be on call every other week, including weekends.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
- Physically able to meet the demands of the job, including lifting and climbing.
- Commitment to safety in diverse working conditions.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
- Journeyman Electrician License from the state of Kentucky is required; a Master license is preferred.
- Clean driving record for the past five years is mandatory.
- Able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Completion of OSHA Competent Person training is preferred.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
