Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, overseeing the daily operations of the division's offices and managing a team of administrative support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Division Chief and other division leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day performance of administrative support staff, including payroll, time off requests, and attendance monitoring.
  • Manage the division's administrative budget, including preparing annual departmental budgets and reconciling faculty discretionary funds.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three years in a progressively responsible role in hospital administration or healthcare management.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, administrators, employees, and patients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced office environment with time-sensitive deadlines. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

Supervisory Responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the Division's Administrative Support Staff.
