We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the Pulmonary and Renal Transplant department at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support the management of our transplant patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pulmonary and renal transplant needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including medication management and procedural interventions.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pulmonary and renal transplant medicine.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Experience working in a transplant setting, preferably in pulmonary and renal transplant medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a high level of patient acuity and complexity. The position requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
