Estamos en búsqueda de un enfermero(a) especializado en PACU con experiencia para un puesto a tiempo completo de lunes a viernes. Las horas pueden variar entre las 7 a.m. y las 5 p.m. según el horario de los pacientes. Las horas de fin de semana serían de 7 a.m. a 11 a.m. y solo ocasionalmente, aproximadamente cada seis semanas.

Responsabilidades:

  • Monitorear y evaluar la recuperación de los pacientes de la anestesia tras los procedimientos de fertilidad.
  • Proporcionar atención postoperatoria, incluyendo manejo del dolor y administración de medicamentos según sea necesario.
  • Realizar evaluaciones exhaustivas de los signos vitales, síntomas y bienestar general de los pacientes.
  • Colaborar con el equipo quirúrgico, médicos y otros profesionales de la salud para asegurar la continuidad de la atención.
  • Reconocer y responder a signos de complicaciones postoperatorias o emergencias.
  • Proporcionar intervenciones adecuadas y colaborar con el equipo de salud para estabilizar a los pacientes.
  • Educar a los pacientes sobre el cuidado postoperatorio, administración de medicamentos y cualquier instrucción específica relacionada con su tratamiento de fertilidad.
  • Mantener y gestionar el equipo y suministros de PACU, asegurando que estén limpios, funcionales y disponibles.

Educación/Requisitos:

  • Licencia actual de enfermero(a) registrado(a) para ejercer en Texas.
  • BLS.
  • Un mínimo de un año de experiencia en PACU.
