Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Altru Hospital. As a key member of our food service operation, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions, preparing and delivering food to customers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver food to customers in a timely and efficient manner

• Set up and serve food from counters and steam tables

• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations

• Monitor and report any deviations in refrigerator or freezer temperatures

• Collect and record dish machine temperatures as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and customer service skills
