Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a crucial role in leveraging information security tools and data to monitor and reduce organizational risk. This position involves identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing security measures, and recommending technical methodologies to support functional security best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize information security tools to understand and mitigate risk.
  • Collect data and prepare status reports on security matters.
  • Analyze security measures to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Recommend technical methodologies that support functional security best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Help prepare and maintain plans on standard operating procedures.
  • Lead the company-wide information security training and awareness program.
  • Update and document security controls.
  • Assist and maintain security software.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, or information security, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years' experience in security.
  • Experience administering vulnerability scanning or other security tools is considered a plus.
  • CompTIA A+ and Security + or equivalent required.
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of incident response and handling as well as intrusion detection methods and techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, and client operating systems.
  • Ability to keep up to date regarding new and emerging IT and cyber security technologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, situation analysis, and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience with MS Intune.
  • Working knowledge of Azure.
  • Working knowledge of MS Defender.
Benefits and Compensation
  • The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year, and the compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
  • Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. An industry-leading benefits package including health, dental, and vision plans, matching retirement contributions, and matching 529 contributions all add to your bottom line.
