Imaging Specialist

The Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in the efficient management and processing of documents and images within Exela Enterprise Solutions. This position involves utilizing imaging equipment and software to scan, digitize, organize, and maintain various types of documents and images.
Key Responsibilities- Document Scanning and Digitization: Operate imaging equipment, such as scanners and digital cameras, to accurately scan and digitize documents, photographs, and other materials.
- Image Enhancement and Editing: Use imaging software to enhance, edit, and manipulate scanned images as needed, ensuring clarity, readability, and compliance with quality standards.
- Document Organization and Management: Organize scanned documents and images into electronic files and folders according to established naming conventions, categorization criteria, and indexing systems.
- Metadata Entry and Management: Enter metadata, keywords, and other relevant information into document management systems or databases to facilitate search and retrieval of scanned materials.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Perform quality checks on scanned images to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specified standards, identifying and rectifying any errors or discrepancies.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for imaging equipment and software, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Confidentiality and Security: Adhere to privacy, security, and regulatory requirements governing the handling and processing of sensitive documents and images, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proficiency in using imaging equipment, software, and tools, with demonstrated experience in document scanning and image processing.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing scanning and data entry tasks, familiarity with document management systems, databases, and file organization principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and convey information accurately.
