Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineering Lead to join our Global Power Electronics division. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the development of variable speed drive product platforms, which are essential for driving growth and enhancing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of new variable speed drive product platforms.
- Conduct Manufacturing Technology Assessments and evaluate technology options.
- Create design for manufacturing guidelines and oversee tester development.
- Initiate cost reduction strategies and cultivate partnerships with suppliers.
- Manage Engineering Changes to support production and customer needs.
Qualifications:

- You demonstrate initiative in challenging situations and capitalize on opportunities.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of technical experience in electronics hardware and firmware design.
- Proven expertise in electronics hardware, firmware, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with customers and safety organizations.
- Knowledgeable in EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and project management.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
