Maintenance Engineer Job Description

At Home2 Suites by Hilton, we're committed to providing exceptional hospitality management services and quality hotel development. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, interior, and exterior facilities, as well as mechanical equipment.
  • Install electrical wiring and devices, and perform basic plumbing repairs as needed.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure timely maintenance and upkeep.
  • Assist with renovation and remodeling of facilities, and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance and communicate daily with internal departments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to Front Office and Housekeeping requests in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Able to climb ladders and lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrate good eye-hand coordination and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Prior experience in basic painting and drywall repair, as well as customer service.
