Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems to ensure safe working conditions and minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment and systems to prevent deterioration and ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with outside contractors to install or service equipment as needed.
  • Assist machine operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled cleaning or changeovers of equipment.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures, including quality, GMP, and GFSI standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts and DC drive systems.
  • Knowledge of vacuum conveying systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and operate a mill/lathe.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
