Business Operations Assistant

AppleOne is seeking a skilled Business Operations Assistant to join our team in this Accounts Receivable Associate role.
About the RoleWe are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our clients, and this position plays a critical part in achieving that goal. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of cash receipts, preparing tenant invoices, and maintaining a professional relationship with owners, tenants, and vendors.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with our Controller to address owner and tenant inquiries, monitor aged delinquencies, and prepare annual operating expense reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Cash Receipts: Post all cash receipts received from owners/tenants and monthly recurring charges to owners/tenants.
- Tenant Invoices: Prepare tenant/client invoices and tenant charge-backs for processing.
- Delinquency Management: Monitor the aged delinquencies for each property, issue appropriate delinquency notices (tenant default, 3-day notices) upon review by Property Management.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist the Controller with account reconciliation and compilation of monthly financial information as directed.
- Reporting: Assist with the preparation and distribution of the monthly operating reports and annual property budgets.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller, including reviewing and acting as backup to entering new leases/renewals into the Accounting System.

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial transactions and managing accounts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including controllers, property managers, and other support staff.
