AnthroMed Education is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Madison Heights. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with early childhood students in a self-contained room, providing high-quality speech services and supporting students with AAC devices.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Use evidence-based research and continuing education to inform practice decisions
  • Develop a learning environment characterized by effective process management strategies
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
  • Develop treatment plans in conjunction with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
