About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As an AAC Focus Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in the early childhood center, providing high-quality speech services and supporting students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student's speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Use professional literature and evidence-based research to inform practice decisions
  • Develop treatment plans in conjunction with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
