Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join the Anesthesiology department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The department handles over 5,500 cases annually and averages about 480 cases per month as a Trauma 1 Center. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for anesthetic management for patients requiring surgical procedures in the Operating Room and/or Obstetrical area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and be board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology. The Anesthesiologist will work closely with the department's Quality Assurance program and participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills.
The compensation package includes an annual base salary of $390,000* (board eligible) and $400,000* (board certified), as well as additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The package also includes 401(k) company contributions, annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement, and generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO).
