Role:

The Lead Business Analyst for Loan IQ Accounting is tasked with bridging the gap between business users and technology teams, ensuring clear and effective communication. This role is pivotal in the ongoing exploration and analysis of business performance metrics to inform strategic planning.

Citi is undertaking a comprehensive technology initiative to modernize our core accounting and servicing applications for Agency, Non-Agency, and Bi-lateral Lending businesses globally. This transformation involves migrating to the Loan IQ platform while phasing out existing product processors. The successful candidate will possess extensive industry knowledge regarding core application accounting processes and the configuration capabilities of the Loan IQ platform, while also addressing the needs of Citi's business units.

Effective communication and diplomacy skills are essential for influencing internal stakeholders to implement optimal solutions. Attention to detail while maintaining a focus on overarching objectives is crucial for success in this role. The individual will lead efforts in Loan IQ production support, enhancements, analysis, configuration, migration, and testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the integration of Loan IQ Finance and Treasury functions, collaborating with senior management teams to achieve objectives and implement new products and process improvements.
  • Address high-impact, complex business challenges through thorough evaluation of business and system processes.
  • Engage with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Provide technical direction and strategic insights as an expert throughout all phases of development and implementation, delivering sophisticated analyses to identify issues and devise innovative solutions.
  • Manage resources, allocate work, mentor team members, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and uphold the firm's reputation by applying sound ethical judgment in all actions.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with Loan IQ platform expertise and a solid background in Loan IQ accounting functionality.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Loans domain within a large financial services organization, including deal booking mechanics, corporate actions, payment systems, and credit agreements.
  • Extensive experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Broad knowledge of various technology areas.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and prioritization skills.
  • Consistent ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a methodical approach to work with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a quick learning ability for new tasks.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
