Role:
The Loan IQ Accounting Business Analyst Lead plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business users and technology teams, ensuring effective communication of information in a clear and logical manner. The primary goal of this position is to facilitate ongoing exploration and analysis of business performance metrics to inform strategic planning.
Citi is undertaking a comprehensive technology initiative aimed at modernizing our core accounting and servicing applications for Agency, Non-Agency, and Bi-lateral Lending operations globally, aligning with growth and strategic objectives. This transformation involves migrating to the Loan IQ platform and phasing out existing product processors. This role necessitates extensive industry knowledge regarding core application accounting processes and the configuration capabilities of the Loan IQ platform, while also addressing the requirements of Citi's business operations.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication and diplomatic skills to effectively influence internal stakeholders and implement optimal solutions. Attention to detail while maintaining a focus on overarching objectives is crucial for success in this role. The individual will lead efforts across Loan IQ production support, enhancements, analysis, configuration, migration, and testing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of Loan IQ Finance and Treasury functions, understanding core business operations and collaborating with senior management teams to achieve objectives and implement new products and process improvements.
- Address high-impact, high-profile challenges with significant business implications through thorough evaluation of complex business and system processes, as well as industry standards.
- Negotiate and influence senior leaders across various functions and communicate with external stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide technical direction and strategic insights as an expert throughout all phases of development and implementation, delivering sophisticated analyses to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Manage resources, allocate work, mentor and coach team members, and fulfill other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, ensuring the firm's reputation is upheld and that Citigroup, its clients, and assets are safeguarded by adhering to applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and applying sound ethical judgment in all business practices.
- 10+ years of experience with expertise in the Loan IQ platform and a robust background in Loan IQ accounting functionalities.
- Extensive knowledge of the Loans domain within a large financial services organization, including deal booking mechanics, corporate actions, payment systems, and credit agreements.
- Thorough experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Comprehensive understanding of various technology domains.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and prioritization skills.
- Consistent ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
- Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities under pressure.
- Established ability to cultivate working relationships and approach tasks methodically with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative to learn and master new tasks quickly.
