About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join our team at Technical Assent. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality training programs and curricula for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop training programs, curricula, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand client requirements and needs, using methodologies such as customer research, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
  • Curriculum Development: Lead curriculum development using the ADDIE method, facilitate customer validation and testing, pilot plans, course evaluations, train-the-trainer content, and continuously improve curriculum based on feedback from clients and evaluations.
  • Training Delivery: Design and develop training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and design appropriate course content and training curriculum.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Establish metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness and may coach trainers.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctorate degree in instructional design or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant, professional experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Human-Centered Design/Design Thinking, employee experience, customer experience, and/or service design, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: Certification in Human-Centered Design, design thinking, and/or service design background is preferred.
