Job Title: Counselor Intern

Recovery Monitoring Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Counselor Intern to join our team. As a Counselor Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with adult clients who have drug/alcohol related legal issues, providing counseling and case management services to support their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and instructional programs to support client recovery.
  • Implement procedures and systems to support program goals, objectives, and mission.
  • Identify and direct the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with Texas Department of State Health Services standards.
  • Interview prospective participants to determine appropriateness for the treatment program.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of client assessments with procedures, forms, and reporting systems provided by the referring authority.
  • Adhere to mandatory client exploitation reporting laws, HIPAA requirements, and other applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Provide court testimony as needed.
  • Adhere to recovery principles and impart knowledge of risk management, evidence-based practices, and systems of client care.
  • Maintain counselor licensure requirements and CPR/First Aid certifications.
  • Participate in on-site clinical supervision.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I) with the state of Texas.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Clear criminal background and negative drug screen.

Monday through Thursday: 12:30pm to 9:30pm. Friday: 8am to 5pm.
