Paramedic I/II Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team in Bridgeport, CA. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to the community, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with other first responders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support treatment to patients, in accordance with California State and ICEMA Region Paramedic Scope of Practice.
- Respond to emergency calls, working in a variety of environments, including inclement weather, road closures, and avalanche danger.
- Operate rescue units, complete run paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform over-the-side rescues, respond to fire ground incidents, and assist with emergency incident rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with other first responders, including firefighters and law enforcement officers.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an Accredited Paramedic School.
- Ability to obtain possession of valid Paramedic accreditation from ICEMA prior to employment.
- Minimum of six months of previous full-time paramedic experience and a minimum of six months of employment with Mono County as a Paramedic-I.
- Possession of a valid Paramedic License from the State of California.
- Possession of a valid Driver's license.
- Possession of a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card from American Heart Association.
- Possession of a valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) card from American Heart Association, American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR card or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card from American Heart Association.
